Practitioner
Maura Bright has been practising Acupuncture since 1982 and
Reflexology since 1994. She graduated from the College of
Traditional Acupuncture (UK) in Leamington Spa and completed
postgraduate studies in London and China. She has been running
a successful practice at 140 Harley Street for 7 years, where
her clients include members of the fashion, film, media and
theatre world.
Maura has been studying, practising and teaching Chinese
Face Reading for 12 years and uses this ancient art in the
contemporary setting of her Acupuncture practice, as well
as in one-off sessions.
She began her Face Reading studies in l986 when she met her
teacher Daphne Youngson who was taught Face Reading in Hong
Kong. She completed two years of personal study and clinical
practice with Daphne during 1993-94 and has been running workshops
for acupuncture students and health care professionals since
l995. Her one to one Face Reading consultations provide a
detailed psychological and emotional profile, a health read-out
with advice on diet, lifestyle and weight loss. Her clients
include lawyers, psychologists, and recruitment agencies.
Lecturer
Maura has taught Chinese Face Reading at Reading College of
Integrated Chinese Medicine, London School of Acupuncture
at Westminster University and for postgraduate seminars at
the London School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in
North Finchley, London. She has lectured at the Annual Conferences
of the Society for the Study of Physiological Patterns, and
runs workshops at the Inner Potential Centre in Fulham and
at 140 Harley Street, London.

Authoress
Maura has written articles on Face Reading for the European
Journal of Oriental Medicine, Positive Health Magazine, and
women's health magazines. Articles about her work have appeared
in The Times, Here's Health, Bella, The Daily Mail, New Woman,
Hello, Good Housekeeping, Health and Fitness and Woman's Journal.
She is currently writing a book on Chinese Face Reading for
health and psychological profiling.
